Mike McCarthy

I hate to rain on the parade of Bears fans celebrating their 2nd gifted win in three weeks, but it makes me nauseous to hear people defend McCarthy for not letting Chicago score last night. It's a complete no-brainer if you have any kind of passing game, and the Packers have one of the two or three best in the league. The odds of Rodgers driving down the field in two minutes and scoring a game-tying touchdown were so much greater than those of the Bears missing a 19-yard field goal, there's absolutely no debate. Don't give me this bullshit about "anything can happen on a field goal". How many missed/blocked 19-yard field goals/extra points have you seen in your life? And how many two-minute touchdown drives have you seen?

The Packers had the worst loss of the year last night, worse than the Cowboys' loss to Washington, worse than the Jets' loss to the Ravens, worse than Washington's loss to Houston. They were insanely better than the Bears last night and even with all of their penalties, it was McCarthy who put the nail in his own team's coffin by praying for a missed 19-yarder rather than putting the ball in his all-world passing game's hands.

can't disagree with you on this , not getting rodgers the ball back was the worst decision he could make

McCarthy has yet to win any big games here in 3 years , he got totally outcoached by Tom Terrifc 3 yrs ago in the NFC title game

THe packers GM better go and get Marshawn Lynch , the bills are showcasing him and the pack will have to pay up to get him , they need a solid back to get to the SB this year and with this defense it still may not be eneough to beat the Vikings
