Water Cannon

There are a couple of us here who have followed this horse... the three of us all started following racing right around the same time and we, on occassion, looked for news on him as he was, to the best of our knowledge, the last runner from the "class of Smarty".

(Hey we were new so these first runners we were exposed to remained special. Sentiment and all).

Anyway someone told me (and i don't like posting rumors here but how else can i ask?) to go and look at another forum because it's said he died of colic a couple of weeks ago.

Does anyone here know?

Has anyone heard anything?

Thanks in advance.

This link is from TBC. It's post #634. It gives some detail on where the information came from. Hope this helps.

That's a shame.

Thank you, Patrick.

Poor horse.
