9/12: Belmont Park ($54k C/O)

Fun wagering day for Belmont Fall opening despite missing the P4's, as some key price players juiced multi-horse and multi-race plays. Hope you did well! $54k+ P6 carryover out there today to start on very tricky sequence...

BELMONT PARK

POST-SCRATCHES

5th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 10f-IT (P6, P3, DD, Super)

Quirky start to P6 C/O sequence with win shy types taking a 10 panel lawn tour..

Most Likely: #8 Exclusive Strike 7-2 5th
Best Value: #9 Time for Tutt 5-1 2nd
Next Best: #1a Avenging 7-2 7th
Super Add: #4 Albany Road 3-1 WON ($7.00)

6th: NY-MSW, F&M-3+, 8.5f-T (G/S, P3, DD, Super)

Pretty nice group of state bred fillies with some starting to find their form as turf routers. Key issue is asking yourself how many chances you give a horse like Makeminechocolate when a jump up winner like Frazzie is not impossible moving to grass and stretching out for Schosberg. And you should even consider horses like Quixsand (burdened today by a tough outpost) over a Makeminechocolate..

Most Likely: #5 Strikealinethruit 9-2 4th
Next Best: #8 Irish Lady 10-1 5th
Best Value: #6 Frazzie 15-1 6th
Super Add: #3 Makeminechocolate 3-1 WON ($3.70)

7th: NY-MSW, 2yo-F, 6f-IT (P4, P3, DD, Super)

Quandry will be how far beyond previous starters you care to delve..

Most Likely: #1 Eden Is Burning 2-1 3rd
Best Value: #5 Upper East Sider 12-1 WON ($26.60)
Exotics Use: #8 Miss Crabtree 15-1 9th
Super Add: #2 Miss Marla 15-1 4th

8th: CLM, F&M-3+, 6f-T (P3, DD, Super)

Most Likely: #5 Take a Vow 5-1 6th
Best Value: #8 Witchesofwestfield 8-1 7th
Next Best: #7 Hey Babe 3-1 2nd
Super Add: #4 Lights Out Lisa 5-1 5th

9th: 35th Ashley T. Cole-NY, 3+, 9f-IT (DD, Super)

Most Likely: #7 Uncle T Seven 5-2: Troubled in good Kingston try; Adds Leparoux.. WON ($7.10)
Best Value: #2 Piazza Di Spagna 15-1: Closer needs best, but is field's lone 9f winner.. 4th
Next Best: #3 Gimme Credit 2-1: Faced better Cole field in '09 when 4th beaten 2L.. 3rd
Super Add: #5 Pocket Cowboys 3-1: Added rating gear behind Straight Story at Spa.. 2nd

10th: CLM, 3+, 1m (Super)

Best Value: #1 Greeley's Legacy 15-1 3rd
Next Best: #2 Saratoga Sinner 7-2 WON ($7.50)
Exotics Use: #12 Motown Shuffle 4-1 9th
Super Add: #6 Reflect Times 10-1 6th

<$200 P6 Play:

5: 8-9
6: 5-8
7: 1-5
8: 4-5-7-8
9: 7
10: 1-2-12

2x2x2x4x1x3 = 96 x $2 = $192

<$75 P4 Play:

7: 1-5
8: 4-5-7-8
9: 2-3-7
10: 1-2-12

2x4x3x3 = $72

Good luck!
Steve

Just imagine what you would save if you didn't feel a need to include impossible Sciacca horses.

Including a good deal of those horses has juiced many an exacta, tri and super. I'm in the car, but will give a hatful of examples later this aft.

Make sure you detail whether or not, overall, they have led to a higher or lower result vis a vis takeout.

Nothing like a lil' Pat Kelly at 12-1 ($26.60) to brighten the day!

Nice job. That spot had you written all over it.. Even Samyn couldn't screw it up. How did the 12-1 stick?

12:1? The double with a 4:5 shot paid $70.
