Penn National's 3rd tonight - they have the 5th place finisher making up 13 lengths in the final 1/8th of a 5.5f sprint.... of course .. that's nothing for the chart caller at White Pine Racing.

That's the most whacked out chart I've ever seen. The winner from out of there ran back at Fairplex on opening day with that comment line "set pace entire trip" .. even though they have him 2nd and backpeddling - before rocketing home by 10 miraculously.

Obviously they have the winner and 6th place mixed up.

I could picture the entire race after reading that call. Very descriptive.

Where is White Pine Racing?

Trifecta Pool = $484
Exacta Pool = $368

I think it's in Nevada

Sunshine Alpine - I think this was one that Contessa had in NY as a 2 year old, showed a lot of promise and was sold for :$::$::$:

Doug if you have his PP's, I'd be curious....

S h i t like this NEVER happens at WO, where the running lines of the EQUIBASE charts are taken from TRAKUS data.

Of course, TRAKUS is a big f u c kin joke on this forum.

Enjoy the corrections.

White Pine Racing should definitely invest in Trakus.

I like where White Pine says that the Norm Goeringer Stakes has been changed to the Norm Goeringer Memorial because he just died:eek:

Ely, Nevada is where Wayne Newton had his first paying gig.

A couple years ago I played blackjack at the Ely Hotel one night until 4AM with a 70 year old woman who left the table only because she had an elk hunting permit for that weekend and she promised me she was gonna show the guys she was with up and bag one. It was the only blackjack table within about 150 Nevada miles.

Her husband had previously been involved in wild mustang roundups and before he retired and left his wife to play blackjack and drink told me how effed up it is that helicopters are now being used in the roundups. He told me that most stories about the rounded up horses dying of disease are false.....the horses die from the shock of the round up.

I know a little hill outside of town where garnet stones can be found as easily as losing tickets on the ground at a track.
