MTH

12:50 post and they're LATE yet again. Can't make the 1st post of the day.

BUSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

$1M in purses means **** when you constantly need to milk for all the money you can get --- at the cost of never making your scheduled post time.

Ever watch Cal racing when there's a big carryover? 3rd race post of 2:00 means 2:21.

Then went off at 12:54, Phil. They ALWAYS go off late. Whether the 1st race of the day or the last. They just don't get that this messes up anyone playing multiple tracks. And, it's not like you can bet early and go on to other things, given their large pools, as a huge amount of money comes in AFTER 0 minutes to post and the odds fluctuate more than they do at much smaller (in terms of pools) tracks. Unless you're playing them exclusively, this makes them pretty much unbettable.

You are the biggest whiney ass bitch of all time.

I'm not disagreeing with your assessment. More and more tracks are doing it, though, since it seems the more they keep the 0 MTP up there the more bets they can attract from simulcast facilities. Harness tracks are particularly at fault here. It definitely works- when I lived close to Yonkers I would go to simo there and obviously they feature other harness tracks, and you don't know how often I'd hear "There's 0 MTP at Chester, what are we betting? There's 5 MTP at Monticello, we have time there".

Is it really a ploy of the track or is this problem a product of them having to actually deal with full fields on a consistent basis for the first time? Obviously it takes longer to get 12 horses to the/in the gate as opposed to the 5 horses that they have had to deal with in the past. Just seems like there is a small adjustment that has to be made to get things right.

Tampa has admitted to delaying races on purpose to avoid post times in NY or Gulfstream. It makes sense for them to do that, not sure why Mth would do it other than milking the $$.

It doesn't matter to me one way or the other because I'm not as talented as Fats and usually keep my wagering to two tracks at a time, max (usually just one).

Horseys should be taught to approach and load in dressage style

In this way, it would vanish all problems as the loading would be neat and orderly...and pretty..
