Uncle Moe 2 Year Old

Can somebody tell me what race Uncle Moe ran in today? I turned on HRTV and over and over again I keep hearing about how this 2 year old horse Uncle Moe ran an awesome race today. They even referenced Secretariat when talking about how great the race looked. What was the race and where can I watch the video?

"Are you kidding me"
That's what I thought watching this!

What kind of a race was this? Holly Cow!

It was like Landaluce's Lassie no?

He's sired by Indian Charlie and named after our very own Freddy Mo. I'm a big fan.

Hockey, what do you mean he's coming back fast?

I know by definition what that means, but what have you heard or read?

Indian Charlie 08-28-2010 08:56 PM

Any guesses on the BSF for Mo?

They'll probably do some mathematical magic with it, but based on all the times on the card today, doesn't he have to get like a 110?

randallscott35 08-28-2010 08:57 PM

No way. Maybe 100.

He went about 2 seconds faster than the other 2yo msw, he went faster than the graded stakes for 3yo fillies, and his time was better than the two grade 1 races run at 7f.

Oops sorry - meant the fig.

I was fairly certain I heard bone chips rattling around through the TV.

It should be around 105-108, but it won't be.

Since we're just going to throw around numbers with no idea how they are made I hope he gets a Beyer of 135.

It was a very, very nice debut....over a track that carried runners inside and on the lead. Before we crown him HOY for 2011, lets see him win a race over a fair surface.

Relax dude. It's just a curiosity.

However, why not go for HOY 2010?

The way I see it, no 3yo is going to win it. No turf horse is going to win it. No sprinter is going to win it.

I really doubt RA can win it. Z will have to win the BCC, and since that's highly unlikely, that means a female won't win it.

That leaves QR and Blame.

I'm going to predict it now! Uncle Mo is going to win all of his races by double digits and win HOY!

That, or get hurt and retire after 2-3 starts.

hope not..

So, like, how does Rapport get a faster BSF than Uncle Mo after running like 2 5ths slower just a short time later on the card.

King Glorious 08-30-2010 01:05 AM

Very impressive and along with Kantharos and Wine Police, I have some excitement in the 2yo division.
