How bad is Stidham? Someone present some data showing this guy is really a trainer rather than a clown. He's winning 20% this year?

I don't think i've EVER been on the winning end of one of his horses, but rest assured they romp when I omit them.

Yeah, but the trainer stuff is unavoidable.

That horse only ran one time on a dirt track prior ... it ran a 94 pace figure and 70 final figure in career start #2 at FG against winners. Basically looking like a filly with a bright future for four furlongs and than falling apart in the stretch.

It's trainer at the time - Jeff Thornbury - was 2-for-44 at FG with a $0.27 ROI for the meet this year.

To me - it just looked like a little maturation, plus a wet track, plus Pletcher's superior teeth cleaning program helped the filly sustain her FG speed for an extra furlong and a half.

call me crazy, but I think the better question would be who is not cheating at the spa.

Horse racing is like Tiger Woods in Vegas.

I worked for a couple trainers 11 years ago. Never witnessed any cheating and really dont suspect cheating at any of the outfits i worked for. Tho its not like any trainer would have teaching a 16 year old hotwalker how to milkshake a horse high on their list of priorities.

didn't gary get a positive when he was away on vacation one year , someone in the barn milkshaked one of his horses and didn't he get some days?

know that is not right , the guy is away and someone decided to play , do you remember that incident lori?

I remember that quite well. I believe he got a few months. Supposedly the milkshake was given to the wrong horse.

I never saw anything wrong being done, & certainly would never accuse Gary of cheating.

a trainer once told me that the top 10 trainers are the ones who have the top 10 chemists.

TheSpyder 08-23-2010 05:07 PM

So what was high on their list with a hot 16 year old walker?

trying to keep me from getting killed basically.

I was an epic fail. Good Boy Sam almost ended it all for me.

Best way to be around crazy 3 year old colts with balls and a high energy diets is on the other side of the paddock fence with a racing form in your hands.
