The Jets and Panthers in a preseason track meet

They may have to DVR this one - and show it Gitmo prisoners over and over as a new means of torture.

The Jets won 9-3 in a battle of field goals - here are the stats for the QB's of both teams.

Jets:

Player C/Att Yds TD INT
Clemens, Kellen 4/6 32 0 0
Sanchez, Mark 5/10 12 0 0
Brunell, Mark 3/7 2 0 0
O'Connell, Kevin 0/3 0 0 0
TEAM 12/26 16 0 0

Panthers:

Player C/Att Yds TD INT
Clausen, Jimmy 9/22 72 0 1
Moore, Matt 6/17 57 0 1
TEAM 15/39 93 0 2

At least the fucl<ing Jets didn't throw 2 INT's.

"I told (Panthers coach) John Fox it looked like a pillow fight out there with both offenses struggling. Obviously on offense, we got it handed to us pretty good. But I know we can play better than that."

Posting on message boards and doing all this handicapping work I impose on myself is the only thing keeps me from betting 85 thoroughbred races a day - and - if I'm behind - an extra 15 or 20 or so harness races a day without even looking at a program.

Stealing a peak at a football box score or a porn video is ok.

I understand all that, but preseason football means nothing.

I just don't want my fellow Jets fans to be surprised by the absolute skull fucl<ing Randy Moss has in store for them.

It is hard to get only 26 yards in 12 completions.

edit, I think they got 46 yds.

Yeah, that'll be a real accomplishment if the guy who walks Moss around on a leash is still holding out. If he comes back, Moss will be his usual non-factor self.
