28-3 ... both rookie TE's have TD catches - the running game has been strong all game long. The defense has looked fine.

The final score is meaningless - in fact, the score period is meaningless ... but guys are still out there competing the whole way.

The Pats 1's kicked the crap out of the Falcons 1's. The Pat's 2's kicked the crap out of the Falcons 2's. They did it in the Falcons building in front of their own paying customers.

The game means nothing in every way - but think of two horses simply breezing together .. one horse just left the workmate in his dust.

I know it's hard to deal with Randy "My Life is So Unfair When I Run Traffic Cops Over With My Car That I'm Gonna Sob Like an Entitled Little Bitch About It On SportsCenter" Moss' bandwagon-jumping coattail-riding title opportunity being over so quickly, but don't take it out on a team that was 30 minutes from the Super Bowl and vastly improved its roster from there, rather than sit on its ass like some over-the-hill dynasty that hasn't drafted a good defensive player in five years. I can't wait for the excuses in December and January. It was a real treat last year.
