Yes and Ateam nailed it.
Serling has brought it up a few times on TV as well.

Who is the AP Indy in this race?

In any case, I doubt it......not that it's a big deal.

letswastemoney 08-14-2010 06:13 PM

The AP Indy is Dance Quietly.

Networking looks good. She was second in her last race by a large margin, but it was also a large margin back to the third place finisher, which people say is a good sign.

In another example of a great job on the Closer Look in the DRF, Paul Malecki writes that Dance Quietly is kin to 6 winners, headed by American Dance. He must not have looked at the Sibling Summary too closely because Dance Quietly is also a half to Saint Liam.

Another sib to this horse won Monday pretty impressively at Delaware. . . Three-year-old filly by Giant's Causeway.

I think the Ap Indy thing ends tomorrow. This filly is a single for me, in some hard lean pick 3's. Todd-Mott-Baffert/ Todd-all-baffert

I don't see the appeal of Alienation whatsoever. She's almost guaranteed to be better on turf. I really like the 2 in that race, and I'll use the 2, 6, and maybe 1 in PK3's.

The 7th looks ripe for an upset if the Dutrow doesn't fire.

I don't either. I'm using Miss Sarah Brown a little, but I wish those behind her in her debut ran better when they came back. I thought Silvislip was a little interesting.

Ya. . . Got a 93 Beyer I think. Interesting how poorly she ran on turf in her debut. I'm not sure how much they thought of her considering she's running down there and at Philly.

letswastemoney 08-15-2010 05:00 PM

The streak lives on!! I didn't have the 3 though :(

If it helps, I think a lot of you.

There have been zero A.P. Indy's win at 6 furlongs or less at Saratoga - at any age, any distance, on either surfaces. His offspring have been running at Saratoga for the last 15 years.

The stat has nothing to do with first time starters - there have been Ap Indy first time starters win their beyond 6fs.
