Presque Isle was rocking!

About 11 of the 14 total racing fans in the clubhouse were cheering their hearts out for the mighty Rinterval.

Even though she got beat by future 5K claimers in her two defeats at Presque Isle Downs last year ... she gave Zenyatta - the greatest horse to ever live male or female - a nice horse race today!

Yay Rinterval Yay! <3 <3 <3

Here's a horse named Happy Wac who smoked Rinterval at Presque Isle less than a year ago ...

Sadly, she did not pass the post race drug test.

Rinterval's other loss at PID last summer came going two-turns at a mile. She never crossed the wire first at the great Northwestern PA oval.

She lost her last race by only a head to Informed Decision. I think that is more of an indicator of her ability right now than the races she ran a year ago.

I know ... I'm just mocking the whole situation and race.

But, honestly, lets face it .. Rinterval isn't much. She's been beaten to the wire in 20 out of her last 21 races... and Informed Decision gave her a bigger spread in weight.

What if St. Trinians doesn't break into the starting gate and stumble last time? On top of her horrible start and ground wasting ride - she always reportedly lost a shoe.

Rinterval went the half in :50 3/5 today. If Informed Decision could barely beat her when she goes :46 2/5, I would think Zenyatta would have a tough time going by when she goes :50 3/5.

They went fractions of 25.93 - 51.07 - 1:16.37 and Nashoba's Key rallied from last to beat a quality pacesetter by 1.5 lengths when she won the Hirsch.

Again, no one thinks Rinterval belongs on the same racetrack as Zenyatta. Of course Zenyatta is better.
