From Paulick Report:

Quote:

Pennsylvania-based Thoroughbred trainer Darrel Delahoussaye was arrested by State Police Wednesday morning and charged with several felonies and misdemeanors alleging theft by deception, illegally administering drugs to racehorses, rigging a publicly exhibited contest and tampering with physical evidence in an investigation that began last fall.

The 47-year-old trainer was arraigned, with bond set at $20,000. Delahoussaye posted bail and was released.

Michael Gill called. He wants back in. Claims Delahoussaye never cheated under his ownership reign.

I had tried to save a Gill horse that this guy had a few months ago. Master of Diseaster who had dropped down the claiming ladder and was, alledgedly being mistreated by his connections. All of Gills' trainers and Gill himself gave me the run around about the horse including this horror of a horseman. Unfortunately Master of Diseaster, I believe, will never get heard from again. Satish Sanan, via his son, was set to have him taken to New Vocations as they had bred him as soon as I could get possession of him. The industry has to get aggressive with these guys or it will never be seen as a reputable sport for fans.

I don't know about the industry but law enforcement has stepped in here . He could face jail time .

If he is guilty, I have no problem with that.

It is bigger than that guys. I don't believe he can get a trainers license if he is a convicted felon.. Think about the message that sends to all trainers. Kudos for PA State Police.

If he does get convicted I sure it does send a message. Do you think Gill might be nervous about this?
