Bill Allen (Raced Wild Again) Dies at 83

He was part of the ownership that paid a $360,000 supplemental payment to make Wild Again (my avatar) eligible to the inaugural Breeders’ Cup Classic in 1984, which he won.

Wild Again drove home for a much younger me how bad an idea it was to invest a lot of money on a short priced favorite.
