Many thanks for the pics. Especially for me, Mister Marti Gras. I really like him. I watched him in a race months ago and he didn't get the best of rides. That's putting it nicely. I put him in my watch. I caught him at Indiana and he was 20-1'ish and he won a nice race. I had him yesterday, 19-1 behind Hops and hit the super.
This horse taught me the value of watching races carefully for the purpose of jotting down names when appropriate to add to my watches. Your pic is now my 'puter shot. Thanks again. |

At least I got to feed him a peppermint at Classic Mile. Then he tried to bite my hand off. |

sorry to hear the colonel is retiring. he seemed to have so much potential, and was certainly a character! hope he finds a good home.
|
Sorry to hear about Col. Klink. He looks like he could be a good hunter/jumper.

Great pics - thanks for sharing them!
Thanks for the photo of General Quarters. Poor guy - did being something like 6-wide in the turn do him in? :( |

Excellent photos.................love that track. Only lived in Chicago for 4 years but always thought AP was one of the best venues I had ever been to. Love the saddling area and the views.
