Derby Trail Forums - 7/16: Monmouth Park (6th-10th)

Hit & miss day at Belmont Thursday with strong start including bulbous opener exacta of Hatheer-Exchange Funds that paid $104 ($2) in the 6 horse field and got afternoon off to a big start. When Violette firster Sovereign Default topped the 2nd and keyed a sweep of the exotics, I thought the day had potential to be outstanding. But I couldn't string either of the quad players together and had P3's through the 5th interrupted by Freedom Flag in the 3rd and then Unbridled Heat (5th). Not a bad day, but I had hoped for more. Hope you did well! Monmouth action is attractive today, and the elusive .50 P5 is the focus.
