Roxy Gap

Woodbine 3rd race - today.

Take it away IC ....

Indian Charlie 07-03-2010 11:39 PM

Thanks for the heads up.

Seems like a huge overlay, considering how nice the dam was. She actually won twice out of 24 starts, making her one of the best mares sent to IC of horses currently of racing age.

She's going to sweep the Canadian Triple Crown next year.

The Indomitable DrugS 07-04-2010 09:58 AM

84 Beyer for her .... so says this link ... http://www.drf.com/drfLeaderBoard.do?category=beyer

You think she'll get two-turns?

Indian Charlie 07-04-2010 10:05 AM

It looked like she could, but my grasp on fake racing isn't as good as racing on dirt.

You?

Round Pen 07-04-2010 05:06 PM

If All Goes Well she will Run Next on 7/18 in the Shady Well Stakes at Woodbine

Round Pen 07-15-2010 02:26 PM

Shes Back in Sunday Guys only this time she won't be 12-1:D

Indian Charlie 07-15-2010 03:09 PM

Thanks for the reminder.

Baffert has an Indian Charlie firster in the last at Hollywood, one of the worse maiden races you will see, I would be stunned if a firster "1,2" does not win.

Baffet also has a Bernardini firster in the 5th, who is sib to a few good horses.

Indian Charlie 07-15-2010 03:42 PM

Today?

Indian Charlie 07-15-2010 03:49 PM

The IC is a full to a filly that won huge first time out for Baffert, but then really has done nothing much since.

Of the runners that have run, the Memo is interesting.

42k for a Memo, and now first time Mullins, this one has to be live.

Yes She Did Hopefully if she comes out of the race good a trip to the Spa could be in Order.

Round Pen 08-21-2010 01:46 PM

I had to bring this one back Up. She won for Fun again today, in the 1 mile prep for the Natalma Stakes at Woodbine. She is Now 3 for 3 Lifetime and has never been seriously challenged yet. :D

the_fat_man 08-21-2010 01:49 PM

She's clearly impressive. Of course, the field had quite a few maidens in it. Not to take anything away from her, however.

Good idea to not put Husbands on this one.

Round Pen 08-21-2010 06:20 PM

Yes it will be exciting to see how she fairs when the competition gets stiffer, the ultimate goal for her this season is the BC at CD. One good thing with her win on the turf today she has alot of Options on how to get there and which race to run in.

Round Pen 08-22-2010 01:49 PM

Very Proud of our Girl she posted an 89 Beyer :D
