Another great anouncement by Churchill

I feel somewhat vindicated by Churchills' latest activities although only my racetrack cronies will appreciate that vindication and they will only hope I shut up and quit bitchin. I have long felt a company, any company, builds a business. Most of the racetracks have not been selling and promoting the business of horse racing gambling. If no one ever offers you a good reason to sip the wine how will you ever experience its intoxication?
I believe any way you can get new people to the track, do it, Its entertainment! Sell it, Promote it!
Good on ya Churchill!

But there's no racing that day so how exactly is that considered bringing people to the track in actuality?

Racetracks are often used for other events when they are dark.

Sarcasm dude.

how it works?

Anything, anything, anything, that brings people to the track works for me. Simulcasting is going on, they get the feel of the track, become familiar with the location and grounds, they have "been there before". It makes it easier to come back. Also, anything which might make money and alleviate some of the financial burden of operating a huge facility with limited racing dates makes sense to me. This is the beginning of building a more effective business model.
That's how it works. People learn their way to the track, get a little more comfortable, make a date and bring friends, it builds.
At least that is my humble opinion

Wow, I stand corrected.

There is always the chance though it's not just sarcasm, but brilliant sarcasm.

Apparently he isn't aware of some of the groups that have inhabited racetracks during the off season.
