2010 Breeders Cup Tickets

In case anyone hasn't gotten the promotional email from DRF or other sites, individual seats (seats other than 6 person boxes) are going fast for the covered sections 221-225 in the grandstand. Rows K-N are the only rows under cover and section 221 is sold out. Section 222 has some seats left.

Some of the lower sections in the grandstand have choice seats closer to the finish line and are less expensive.

True, but it looks like they are asking you to buy the whole box unless I'm doing something wrong. Looking in either 115 or 118>

Site is difficult at times. I have been trying since Monday and get blown out or asking me to buy whole box.

I'm pretty sure the whole box is all you can buy. If you want single seats, you have to go up the track further and get in the bleachers.

I know what you mean. It took me a few times before I got it.

Sections on the third floor of the grandstand currently only offer boxes.

After choosing the number of seats and the promo code, the next screen you come to has a drop down menu below the words "PRICE LEVELS: (choose from the drop down to change price level)". Choose sections 119-225 for individual seats.

"Then click a colored square on the SectionMap below to proceed to the SeatMap."

The trick is to click on the colored square and NOT the section number.

Section 221 has a colored square on it yet there are no seats available.Same thing with section 119.

If you want to return to check availability of other grandstand sections from the drop down menu you must first click "Section Map".

Yes, any section in the clubhouse and 3rd floor grandstand require a box purchase. The closest available seats to the finish line in the first floor grandstand is section 120.

I was able to get Section 117 tickets for Saturday but I had to buy the entire box of 6 (nowhere on the website did it say you had to buy 6). I figure I should be able to sell my extra Section 117 tickets at face value or above (especially if Zenyatta/Quality Road/Rachel Alexandra make it to the Classic).

Where are you in section 117?

If you're looking to sell at a small premium or would like to eat that premium in some nice 8X10's let me know. PM me if you are interested.

There is no way whole sections are sold out. They will release tickets in bunches with a sense of urgency. Next month they will do the same thing.
