Saw that last night. I wonder what is up? Is Calvin next?

Duvalier 05-11-2010 08:28 AM

I'm sure Jess Jackson will address it in his next press conference...along with noting that Rachel is 94.876345% to 95.349865% fit for her next start.

Linny 05-11-2010 08:28 AM

Bridgmohan worked Rachel yesterday. I hear that Dom is riding for Dallas Stewart now.

Princess Doreen 05-11-2010 08:47 AM

Since this is already out there in cyberland and not just on his FB - this is what Terry has written -

I would like to 1st thank Steve (only) for the oppertunity to enjoy my experience with Rachel!! I've adored every moment, dedicated my heart and soul to you, and wish you the best of luck w/ her! I'm sorry to all of her/my fans for the loss of my company for the rest of her career . It was not my choice .. Please stop... the incouragement, and the messages and all that cuz it hurts to here it.. Thanks to all of you !!

********

Thanx to all of you, truely!, it took a whole 20 minutes to be hired at a top stable this morning , and I'm ten times more appreciated for my services there. Thanx again all!

Steve Haskin wrote -

What! You got taken off Rachel? We shoot our video on Bloodhorse tomorrow. I'd like to mention how much that sucks unless you have any objections. Have they run out of people to blame?

*************

Dominic's response:

They have run out, I got it most though, I'm devistated..
Say what u feel..

(spelling not withstanding!)

No need to criticize spelling errors. He's the Salman Rushdie of exercise riders.

Typing from those I-phones or tiny keyboards makes for a lot of typos.

now, if only jess jackson would fire himself....he's the dan snyder of the racing world.

Gaining Ground 05-11-2010 09:16 AM

what is the address of his blog?

dalakhani 05-11-2010 09:29 AM

I remember Honu making an interesting point after watching Rachel lose to Zardana. She said something about her head being cocked and that maybe it had something to do with things she was getting away with in the morning.

Do you think maybe Jackson's thinking was in line with what Honu was speculating on? And if I am misquoting Honu, I apologize.

Jackson had nothing to do with Terry's departure from the Asmussen barn.

This happens all the time. Not the end of the world here.

If you have a FaceBook account, you can view it here:

However, all posts relating to his firing, rehiring, and Haskin have been removed.

Appearences can be deceiving.. Misinformation and innuendo may reign supreme elsewhere. It won't here.

Terry's dismissal from the Asmussen barn had absolutely nothing to do with Jess Jackson or Rachel Alexandra. A barn making a personnel move with an exercise rider is not unusual. Leave it at that.

Coach Pants 05-11-2010 11:34 AM

I'm just gonna assume with all that book-learnin' he mighta got a little sharp with his vocabulary if yanno what I'm sayin.

If it wasn't Asmussen, and it wasn't Jackson, who was it? Not knowing makes it more interesting than it probably is.
