How are those "Green Jobs" working out for you?

Excerpt: "BP will close its solar-panel manufacturing plant in Frederick, the final step in moving its solar business out of the United States to facilities in China, India and other countries."

Oh yeah...this Obama guy is doing wonders for this economy.

Not suprised by this news. Smoke and mirrors is the game.

Dude.. So this whole outsourcing fiasco started with Obhama? It is unreal how people can twist any story whatsoever to fit their agenda.

No, by no means did outsourcing start with Obama. With Democrats, yes, a long time ago due to our "progressive" taxation system. By taxing and regulating business to the point where it doesn't make fiscal sense to stay in this country, the politicians, most of them Democrats, have ensured the continued departure of businesses and jobs from our shores.

That said, Obama did repeat, ever so in a condescending manner, that there would be abundant "green" jobs to fill the void when other forms of energy are taxed much higher and/or regulated out of existence by the EPA restrictions primarily, and secondarily by the "Energy Bill" that passed the House, should it ever become law (God forbid).

The only green job is one that pays very well in "Federal Reserve Green".

mrs d drives by this building every day. they started a BIG expansion project and have never finished it. now the city and county are making them tear it down! slab poured, steel up, some of the roof is finished and the left it unfinished.:zz:

Gimme a break - this has nothing to do with Obama, and everything to do with what's been going on with BP the past few years. What a joke to lay this at Obama's lap.

PS Joey - did you even read the article you posted?

It's not only outsourcing, it's how BP has been sold off/bought out recently (notice any BP gas stations being closed the past few months? Those right next to shell's?)

Nasa in Houston probably isnt too far behind in losing jobs. Im sure the imbecile in DC will say that there are more jobs. Obviously he forgot about this year being a census year where there are extra workers temporary for that. Alot of us Americans aren't dumb like he makes us out to be.

Even you must see the humor in making a spelling error (or probably just a typo) in a post where you were boasting about not being dumb.

I mean normally, who cares about such errors? But in a post like that....it made me laugh.
