I chat with enough nerds in one day.

Here's my strategy for betting these races ... I'm going in with the intention to bet against the Americans in our pools ... and I'm going to let the betting exchange markets point me to which foreign horses I will bet.

I don't know jack sh!t about the non-American horses. However, I know enough about our horses and our bettors to know playing against them in our pools will likely prove worth it.

I always bet on the Eurpean horses I like on the Australian tote when they are usually twice the price.Even some horses that I dont like, I play simply because their price is way too big. Its a great day to make some money because if you play smart, the odds are in your favour!!

the_fat_man 03-25-2010 04:31 PM

Here's my strategy:

I've got all I can do to play the 6+ tracks I do currently. Screw what happens in Dubai. Why would there be better betting opportunities there? Just the extra work needed alone makes it a no play situation.

The Indomitable DrugS 03-25-2010 04:37 PM

Damn it.

I was going to ask if you could post a Fat Chart for this years running of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.

That would be far less painful than reading that blasted chat.

Will have to (barf) agree;chats are usually pretty filled with the mentally dead and wounded anyways.

Oh I didn't know TFM followed Riyadh!

You know who was good in that this time around was Shibl Noofa (who is actually Amor De Pobre)...

Course he won the prep (Crown Prince?).

Could only manage 3rd here but still... nice run!

No shot in the World Cup but good for his connections for having balls, huh?

I think this works as a general rule in all of the races but the Sprint... In the 4 or 5 years I've been watching the World Cup, I think a US-based horse has won the Sprint every year (with the lone exception being Big City Man taking advantage of Prado completely blowing the race on Indian Blessing last year).
