Master of Disaster?
 

Does anyone have any idea or knowledge of where this horse is. He had two very poor performances at the bottom of the claiming ladder a few months ago and was the subject of much gossip and rumor regarding his care.

We have been trying to locate him as we have a retirement home for him. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks but unfortunately it hasn't been good news so far. My wife started that thread, "Charitable Woman", and while I have been in touch with two of Gill's former trainers who both trained him recently, neither one appears to know where he is. The trainer at Mountaineer at first denied knowledge of the horse and then got defensive and slipped, reflecting knowledge that the horse was part of Gills operation. The word on the backstretch at Mountaineer (I know, it isn't the most reliable source) is that the Mountaineer trainer arrived at Mountaineer with fewer horses than he left Gill's farm with. That a number of them were in too bad shape to race and were put down.
The folks who trained for Gill appear sincere. I just don't know what to believe and I just want to confirm if MoD is alive/out there as I have a retirement home for him all set. I do appreciate your help and hope that there is someone on this site that may have information.

It is really admirable that you are looking for him to give him a home, best of luck and I hope someone comes forward with some information for you.
