Where next for Life is Sweet

Anyone heard anything? I'm assuming the trainer is going to keep her away from Zenyatta, but there really isn't much on the schedule for a SA pro ride loving filly besides the Zenyatta race.

Dubai World Cup.

Indian Charlie 02-27-2010 09:46 PM

No prep for that though??

The Indomitable DrugS 02-27-2010 09:48 PM

She already had one.

PatCummings 02-27-2010 09:49 PM

Doesn't seem as though there would be another prep...

Indian Charlie 02-27-2010 09:51 PM

Yeah, I suppose. Seems like it's a bit of a gap though. BC to February then Dubai.

I guess the competition for Zenyatta then is going to be mighty thin.

The Indomitable DrugS 02-27-2010 09:56 PM

If they make it weight for age - the "competition" will be even thinner.

In a similar vein, according to the Fair Grounds barn notes, John Shireff's third stringer, the Grade 2 winner Zardana, is nominated to the New Orleans Ladies race, the tentative comeback spot for Rachel Alexandra.

She's 3-for-3 on dirt with her 3 wins coming by a combined 39 lengths ... so, might make the race a little more interesting.

That means Shireffs will be away from the Queen for 2 weeks.
