Anyone see the 8th race at Turfway tonight?

A 27/1 shot first-time-starter is in front by 3 lengths and "drawsss awayyy" according to track announcer You Know Who.

At this point, jockey EN Arroyo starts going to a heavy left handed whip and the horse ducked out so sharply he unseated the rider in the middle of the track.

TVG's Chris Kotulak said the rider was Norberto Arroyo Jr 3 different times on tv after the race. Considering EN Arroyo is a 5% Turfway jock - who just made a foolish decision ... I think Norberto should sue or something.

Is the jock ok ? Is the owner ok ? Unreal.

I mostly feel sorry for the people who were set to cash at 27/1 ... the owner still has the maiden condition to work with .. and the jock didn't exactly showcase any smarts.

Have to agree with you . You can pay some bills off those maiden races as long as you don't win to soon.

Isn't Norberto Arroyo in jail/suspended indefinitely again?

Why would Norberto sue? That was a complement. At least he was on a horse.
