OBS Feb 16

A very different time in the horse industry. Sales topper was what 450k? Not a lot of heavy duty pedigree horses so I guess that explains some of it?

If you want to see some nice pedigrees look at the FT calder Catalogue.

MISTERGEE 02-16-2010 04:01 PM

lots of withdrawn and not sold it looks like, I think there were 8 Wildcat Heirs listed originally and it looks like they sold 1. I was there yesterday for the races tons of people there but just not many with $ for horses

MISTERGEE 02-16-2010 04:09 PM

I was speaking to my friend down in Ocala today and she told me a lot of farms are going to be forced into selling and that virtually all the financing is gone.. She did say that Fasig(Dubai) was willing to deal IF you were very solid and willing to play at a big level?? Who knows for sure?

I only surfed in for the sale topper and one could see he was a super mover . On the screen he looked solid physically also. The question with these horses is...too much too soon ?

The Bid 02-18-2010 10:08 AM

Freddy I thought you were out at 445k, but you stretched.
