from RIOT approved Rasmussen. They must read derbytrail and know this woman had it all wrong with teabags dancing through her head. Perfect timing.

Riot that falling green line in graph one means Obama's approval rating is going down not up and is down a bunch from the day he was sworn in directly opposite from what you have said.

Sigh ... Dell, now you are changing back to "approval rating from day he was sworn in"? Yeah, as we've talked about before, all Presidents approval ratings fall from the time they are elected.

You are not now maintaining you were talking about this, are you? Because you know darn well we were not. We were talking about his current approval rating the past couple of weeks.

You see the little glitches up and down? Those are the Rass weekly polls, and yeah, look at that big spike up there last week after he talked to the GOP Congressmen.

Here's the current (this week, which was taken during the past week) WSJ-NBC poll:

Quote:

1. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president? Do you approve/disapprove strongly or somewhat?

-------- Approve -------- ------- Disapprove ------ No
NET Strongly Somewhat NET Somewhat Strongly opinion
2/8/10 51 29 22 46 12 33 3
1/15/10 53 30 24 44 13 32 2
12/13/09 50 31 18 46 13 33 4

5. Who do you trust to do a better job handling [ITEM] - (Obama) or (the Republicans in Congress)?

2/8/10 - Summary Table*

Both Neither No
Obama Reps (vol.) (vol.) opinion
a. The economy 47 42 1 7 2
b. Health care reform 46 41 1 9 2
c. The federal budget deficit 45 43 1 9 1
d. The threat of terrorism 47 42 2 6 2
e. Creating jobs 48 41 2 8 2
The President is doing fine in the polls. The individual parties are what people are most unhappy with. To maintain the President has a falling approval rating right now is wrong. It's very stable.

well these Nov elections corresponding w/the Blago trial in the summer should make great races. BTW there's a bunch of dirt to overturn and we'll see what's down there. The greek running against Kirk doesn't have a chance and I think Kirk may be the only candidate we may ever agree on?

God Bless
(Ok kiddin again)

Stop it already! AGAIN! and hopefully for the last time! The President and you and Mayor Goodman and I have a lot in common. lol

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 75% of likely voters now say they are at least somewhat angry at the government’s current policies, up four points from late November and up nine points since September. The overall figures include 45% who are Very Angry, also a nine-point increase since September.

I hope the Dem's keep drinking that Kool Aid. It's going to make November that much sweeter.

Yes Dell. They are angry at "the government" - that's the Dems, the GOP. Not the President.

I dunno. I think Plouffe is driving things on a big basis, judging by the going's on of the past couple of weeks, and the GOP might better come up with some new ways to whine.

Just 8 percent of Americans want the members of Congress re-elected, according to a CBS News-New York Times poll taken nine months before roughly one-third of the Senate and the entire House face voters.

Also, 75 percent disapproved of the job Congress is doing, the highest level since 74 percent said they disapproved in October 2008. Congress’s job approval rating was 15 percent in the current survey; it was 12 percent in October 2008.

The job President Barack Obama is doing was approved of by 46 percent; disapproving were 45 percent. In a December CBS-New York Times poll, his approval rating was 50 percent, while 39 percent disapproved

dellinger63 02-12-2010 09:37 AM

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove which gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15

Sixty-one percent (61%) say Congress should scrap the proposed health care plan and start all over again. Just 28% think it would be better to build on the health care plan that has been working its way through the House and Senate. Most think action should wait until voters select a new Congress in November.
