Vegas' main industry is gambling.
Gambling requires discretionary income.
The presence of discretionary income means that the taxes are not yet high enough.

The Obama qoute really cracked me up when I heard it. What this guy (Obama) says and what he does are Polar Opposites.

here locally in IL we have a Lt. Gov (Dem) who won the nomination (Running partner to the Dem Gov nominee). Hours AFTER the election it was released he was arrested for assault on his g/f (knife to her throat) and this same g/f was arrested and plead guilty to prostitution charges a month later. His excuse/statement today was he was going throuh a bad time and had some bad friends. This is IL politics and what a perfect time for the news to come out!

He brought it up when he announced he was running...just no one thought he had a chance so no one cared. Not that I voted for him anyway, but when you have a 15% turn out and a primary way too early, this is the kind of crap you get.
