Oaklawn then Laurel and now Aqueduct all cancel. This has certainly changed things here at the NHC. Thy have eliminated the mandatory at Aqueduct and gave us an extra optional play today. Now, with just four tracks, this will get interesting.
By the way, I used an optional here at Gulfstream's third on the 8. Paul |
I played the 7 in the first mandatory race (GP 4).

oops I weighed that one down for ya |
Another winner in the GP 7 mandatory. Hate taking a short price but in mandatory races, you sometimes have to take what is given to you.
I am now sitting at just over $50 with eight races to go. Lots of work to do. Paul |

You're doing fine! Hang tough.. Lots of opportunity and progress being made against Troop's lead according to Tuley recent update... 2-3 cap-vicinity hits will propel you! Pursuers close gap on NHC leader By Dave Tuley http://www.drf.com/news/article/110478.html LAS VEGAS - The chase is on. Brian Troop, 61, of Barrie, Ontario, held a nearly $80 lead over the rest of the field in the 11th annual Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship after Friday's first day of the two-day compeititon that awards $500,000 to the winner. But the field of 300 started its pursuit in earnest on Saturday with everyone having the chance to make 15 more mythical $2 win-and-place bets. Troop entered the day at $232.60. After Saturday's second mandatory race, the fifth at Gulfstream, Troop was still in the lead after padding his total up to $248.80, but closing the gap were Russell Weber of Amityville, N.Y., with $216.20 and Robert Gregory of Durango, Colo., with $200.80. |
Troop maintaining NHC lead
By Dave Tuley LAS VEGAS No news is good news for Brian Troop. Russell Weber of Amityville, N.Y., who had $216.20 after the second mandatory race of the day had only increased his score to $223.60 while Robert Gregory of Durango, Colo., who was at $200.80 is now up to $211.20.
