He was awesome, jmo...

AeWingnut 01-29-2010 05:40 PM

he's done enough

I'm glad he chose to start his life after football. He was getting hurt too easily with the concussions. I wish him the best

for his play on and off the field the man deserves to get in the HOF first oppurtunity. I can't believe how much he has done. I can't imagine there being another like him.

pgiaco 01-29-2010 06:19 PM

Ballsy player. Unbelievable stats for a guy who didn't start in the NFL until he was 28. IMO a Hall of Famer.

GBBob 01-29-2010 07:57 PM

Packers cut him...Favre, Brunell and Warner....tough crew

ddthetide 01-30-2010 06:51 AM

liked his story to start his career. i wasn't a fan because i think his a "system" qb BUT i respect his game greatly. he deserves the HoF.

Nascar1966 01-31-2010 04:09 PM

I will miss him alot. Not many players with the dignity and class that he was. He should make in the HOF if the voters have a clue.

You think every good QB is a system QB!

Does anyone remember what happened when Brett Favre played against Kurt Warner in St. Louis. Brett Favre set a record...

for interceptions in a playoff game.

Some people associate Brett Favre with Green Bay. I always think of Charles Martin.

Patrick333 02-01-2010 07:53 AM

I wish him nothing but the best.

warner was one hell of a cornerback.

philcski 02-01-2010 08:47 PM

Remember this?

hi_im_god 02-01-2010 08:54 PM

it's a shame kurt warner never got to play with randy moss.

yes, he was. He played all positions.

Just saying that the Great Brett Favre throws a lot of INTs. Many of them to end the game.

and I don't remember Warner laying down to give someone a bogus sack record.

kurt warner is one of the best in my lifetime. i remember him bringing my rams to glory with amazing accurate passes. the offense in the late 1990's and early 2000's was a yard making scoring machine. both superbowls he played for the rams were great games and he was a gamer. plus, he did it without the drama...a real class act. some teams kicked him around, then dick vermeil gave him a chance and the guy exploded......the NFL will miss kurt warner more than he will miss the NFL.
