I like Cascading..That is a pedigree and a half

I'm hoping this is the start of a strong year for Ailalea, who I've liked since Saratoga.

Shes ok, but I dont like her in this spot, she wants much longer.

This is good test for richiegirlgonewild. We'll see if last race was b/c of just the slop or she better than that.

I like this distance for Bickersons. 12-hole could be tough to negotiate though.

Arletta 01-29-2010 09:01 AM

Looks pretty tough.... a crap shot really IMO. Lot's of unanswered questions to finagle around.

slotdirt 01-29-2010 09:30 AM

I like Bickersons, but this seems a little ambitious to me.

Catalano is a good dude, the Owner is a good girl...I hope SBW can have a great 2010

Kasept 01-31-2010 12:05 PM

David Miller (Star of the North Bloodstock) points out that Cascading, who Mike Welsch and I talked about Friday on ATR and will be an attractive price today, is a three-quarter to Rags to Riches.

I tabbed her second in the Gal. Josie Carroll pulls this stunt off regularly. (Careless Jewel, et al..)

I guess my post "a pedigree and a half post above wasnt specific enough?"

It was specific enough for me.

"pedigree and a half" instantly made me think of the word "teeming".

"Pedigree and a half" also made me think of "mile and a half" which made me think of the "Belmont Stakes" which made me think of both "A.P. Indy" and "Rags To Riches".

I'm not sure why Kasept wasted his time.

To save other people the trouble of pouring over the insignificant details, I'd like to point out that Zenyatta is one hell of a horse.

As is Rachel Alexandra...

Nah.. And besides, you don't have a brand like 'Star of the North Bloodstock"...

moses 01-31-2010 02:36 PM

I think we see Romantic Hideaway take a big step forward today. I don't know if she has what it takes to win it but I think she'll get in the money.

Maishe,

That would be really great for Greg Sacco. He's a very nice guy.

I would have thought Ap Indy would have had you remembering Drysdale and the horses he used to run in Cal.. Stop thinking so much, you worry me ever since you left the halfway house you have regained your bounce. Maybe they could breed Teeming to Papa Clem given his superior early foot shown in the San Juanawho and staying abilty against frogs in San Quinton(should be close to your heart) he should make for an excellent Stallion.

Well, that makes me feel even better about my pick then. I'm thinking the distance will benefit her.
