Is this common for jocks agents?

It seems like a pretty steep fine.

Jockey Agent VIC STAUFFER, pursuant to California Horse Racing Board rule #1530 (Cases Not Covered by Rules and Regulations), is fined FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS*($500.00) for failure to handle his business in a proper manner-failure to honor his call.
*Rule #1532. Fine shall be paid to the Paymaster within
seven calendar days from the date of this ruling, or the

What did Vic do?

What are you, the TMZ of this forum? Vic can't go over the speed limit without some of you giving us a report.

If he is then you're the fat girl who refreshes the comments page for the latest news on Vic aka Robert Pattinson.

What is the over-under on:

Number of posts before the Stonegossard assault

Number of posts before VJS's response to Stonegossard

Number of pages before the thread gets darted

So are you saying it is a common thing? Maybe you could provide a few other such rulings, because I can't find them.

No need, he hasn't posted.

All of the fines I have found for agents have been in the $100 to $200 range, and they were for various offenses up to and including fighting. Maybe I am missing something, that is why I asked.

May be 2nd or 3rd offense. I got fined $500 one time when my horses foal papers didnt arrive at the office in time and had to be scratched. I asked why the fine was so much when it usually is $100. I was told that this was happening too much (though my first time) and they needed to do "something".

I thought it was excessive. I'm innocent I tell you. Innocent! The stewards disagreed. Rats. Sey la vie. We live and learn and move forward. Maybe the state can buy a new flag.

Spelling is not part of the agent ethos.

I would have only given a warning if it were merely a spelling error.
