R.I.P. Fitz
 

The former Basketball coach and Athletic Director for Gonzaga, Dan Fitzgerald, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday night (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4841748). Fitz was well known throughout Spokane and the basketball community and no matter what anyone else may tell you - he made Gonzaga Basketball what it is today. Everyone in the West Coast Conference wants to be Gonzaga but I just don't see that happening any time soon. Fitz helped build the foundation for the Zags dominance and Monson and Few solidified it over the years.

Fitz was a great guy, he will be missed. Please take a moment to think of his family and those that will miss him. And have a drink (or two) tonight for Fitz, he'd like that ;)
