It could always be worse, it could be Kei Igawa.

No it couldn't be worse. This guy throw one big game and then gets everyone excited, for him to go and get shelled the next four games, and when I say shelled, I am not talking like 5 runs, I am talking about barely getting out of the 2nd inning shelled.

I know, don't forget he came into the league through the Bronx, so I'm very familiar with him. I don't think he's a terrible 4th or 5th option in a rotation. Also I would take him in a heartbeat over Carlos Silva, that guy flat out sucks.

He is a terrible 10th option...Silva is a terrible 15th option

You still owe me wings from two years ago, don't you?

or do I owe you wings?

You know I'm a big Contreras guy..Based on how the Cub's rotation is lining up, I wouldn't be afraid to see what he can do.

I have no idea

If they waited until September to pitch him, when it likely wouldn't matter anyways, then maybe. Get two starts out of him and then the opposing team gets to play home run derby

Hard to believe that this is the guy that spawned the whole "Evil Empire" nonsense from the Red Sox.

Trust me Uncly (or however your nickname is spelled)...They will try and resist it but he has serious magically powers.

The best thing to do with him is to keep him in Arizona or Florida until the end of July, and let him debut in September. He will give you three solid games, and then the wheels fall off.

It is like that old war veteran of a racehorse, laid off for a while, first off the layoff they run their best and then a steady decline until they need to be laid off again.....
