He has also become one of the best sires in North America. His stud fee is now up to $75,000. In 2008, he was 3rd leading sire in money won behind Smart Strike and Giant's Causeway. In 2009, he was 4th behind Giant's Causeway, Distorted Humor, and Smart Strike.

I like this up-and-comer, Spectacular Bid. I guess some are just calling him "The Bid." I think he could be a good one.

I've heard a lot about this horse that ran second to Tiznow once.

Something Causeway I think.

Can someone fill me in?

His name was 1985 Causeway. He has become the greatest sire in the history of the universe. His most successful son was Noble Causeway.

I just looked up Noble Causeway and his sire, and I'm now a fan!!

I should start a fan club.

And I'm sure you've never heard of the movie Dreamer based a smidge on GCs dam, Mariah's Storm. Perhaps you'd enjoy it. :D

Well, now that you can't watch those old races on Youtube anymore, good luck with that!

largo1 01-10-2010 07:17 PM
