Mayflower surprises in 1st work
 

MISSUS MAYFLOWER was a very pleasant surprise this morning in Ocala, recording a :37.1 three-eighths in the first timed workout of her career. With Cherie in the irons, the petite daughter of Northern Afleet dropped her head and barreled down the lane like a little pro according to Chuck. She wasn't tired afterward, and the intensity of her effort frankly stunned everybody that has been around her. Notably difficult, the training of MISSUS MAYFLOWER has been delayed by ankle woes. But right now, the pocket rocket is doing well, and Chuck has a February 15 start in mind for her at Tampa.

Looking forward to her first race as well as Lloydobler and the Readboard King. Hoping to make the trip to Aqeduct from Saratoga if Lloyd runs on the 31st.

This work was enough to warrant an early AM text to me from Chuck! I am so excited for Missy...she has a really big heart and those little legs can fly!
