The Merrill Scherer winner looked nice. Some of you may remember his nw1x win at Saratoga this year.

what a terrible terrible time for mother nature to come down on LA today.... cancled the card before the late pk4 got started..... can't believe they made it all the way to the 9th in the first place

Fair Grounds has canceled the rest of the card (Races 9-12) because of weather conditions.

Remaining stakes will be run next Saturday.

They've re-scheduled all of the remaining races for next Saturday on what was to be a pretty big card anyway. The 7 day forecast looks a lot better.
