no point , just don't overlook this horse becuase johnnie v is riding for tom a in the race, scav maybe can ride this one tomorrow and it still might win

hockey2315 11-20-2009 09:09 PM

So are you saying to bet the horse BECAUSE of Mig or in spite of his presence/JV's presence elsewhere?

I thought the Albertrani was interesting regardless of rider.

gales0678 11-20-2009 09:10 PM

hockey the positive is the px will be better with the mig aboard than if johnnie v rides

hockey2315 11-20-2009 09:12 PM

I guess that depends on whether or not you like the horse. . . and I doubt the rider difference will affect the price that much.

The Pletcher can win, but I'd never take a price under double digits on him.

what about in doubles or in p3's , what price/s would be acceptable?

hockey2315 11-20-2009 09:16 PM

I don't know. . . don't like the 5th or 8th enough to play a PK3.

Might bet the 9 to win in R6 and the 6 in R7 assuming they stay on the turf.

hockey , i actually like National Kid off the layoff for Juan Rodriguez in the 7th

hockey2315 11-20-2009 09:24 PM

He showed a lot of promise in his first two, but coming off the long lay-off he doesn't interest me at anything near the morning line. Maybe the hidden trainer change to Juan Rodriguez (really Dutrow) will help the odds, though.

I basically blindly play all Jimmy Jerkens turf horses at decent prices - it's a pretty high ROI angle of late and the numbers go up first w/ trainer.

thx hockey ,i will ask gander about the JJ horse as he has a line into the barn

any opinions on the last race tomorrow and the 2nd races which is also a mdn special

hockey2315 11-20-2009 09:32 PM

The Jerkens in R2 looks good too - probably keying in a PK3 and then backing up.

Would like to get live to the 3 and 6 in R4.

The Voss horse interests me slightly in the last.

NTamm1215 11-20-2009 09:47 PM

It would behoove anyone who's serious about playing the last race to watch the replay of the 4 horse's turf debut at Monmouth.

Gander has a line into what barn? I highly doubt that, I have been very generous to Gander and he has never mentioned anything about info w/ any barn.

What do you guys think of 2-Sunrise Smarty in the 6th. Westpoint is always well meant with firsters and Hushion has a sick winning pct so far this meet.

LOL, if you want info from a drunk who cant show up on time to work, I'll be glad to PM you some "info", but from what I have read, you are better off sticking to your own capping.

Cant wait to see the price on this Sovereign horse in the 6th (#1). The way he is being talked about, we're looking at 9/5.

he is a nice horse as is the #1 , but , they are concernced about the inside post at the big a , they would have rather drawn outside....make sure you use todd in that race

if you want to play west point look at hollywood and mike smith on tthe turf in a maiden race
