Favorite Frankel-trained filly or mare?
And the distaffers, whom Bobby particularly loved...
|
Steve, as much of a fan as I wasn't of Ginger Punch shouldn't she be mentioned as well?

i always loved megahertz, the little girl who could.

Intercontinental was my favorite
|
One of my favorites not on the list was a graded stakes winner that Brice Blanc rode regularily, I remember one of her last stakes wins she went off as a longshot which she won over another Frankel filly. Anyone remember who she was?

Intercontinental was my fav also. Had a weird lanky stride but it looked awesome. Also helps I had $50 to win on her in the BC when she went off 17-1:$:

On another note -- love Tates Creek.

You could always spot a Frankel horse because they were so beautifully turned out with their banged tails. He took so much pride in the little things like that.

I'm sure we're talking about the same race, just the price she was threw me off when I was trying to figure out which horse you were talking about. |
Megahertz was a just a neat little filly. Her runs were breathtaking.

That's almost 15 or 16 depending on how you look at it. She gets some of her due, but I think she was underrated. Some horses are really talented, but the best word I can find for them is "cool." Megahertz was plain old just a cool horse. The kind that sort of makes you shake your head and smile when they run. |

We're definitely talking about the same race, since Blanc saved ground as you described then swung out for the drive and ran past the other Frankel and a couple others in the process. Better to get 9-1 somewhere than 5-1 :D |
