What odds can I get......

Can anyone find the odds of either the Yanks or Sox sweeping during this 5 game series?

That is what i was thinking. I think the Sox will take all 5.

Very hard to imagine either team taking all 5 the way the picthing matchups will be and the fact that Friday is a double header. I would want more than 15/1 to make that bet. 5 games is a huge difference than the traditional 3. No way Jose, I say the Sox win 4 :D

Well Arod wil throw the ball into the 1st base stands about 9 times. I think The Sox takes them all.

You are drinking too much coffee or something Euro. No way in hell do the Yanks get swept.

Maybe the cleaning fumes are getting to me. We had a industrial cleaning done last night and boy does it stink in here this morning.

Ah ha!! I knew something had to be going on there. Sweeping a 4 game series no matter how bad the disparity between any two teams, is very hard. Sweeping 5 games when the two teams are both good is very, very hard. I mean Detroit is a good team and have taken the first two from the Red Sox so far in a 4 game series but no way in hell would I take them to won both of the next two. Baseball just isn't a sport like hockey or basketball where one team that towers over another team can sweep out a series. Baseball has a lot of luck involved in it. Some nights a team can hit four frozen ropes and have em hit right at someone. Other nights a texas leaguer can fall in or a ground ball sneak through a hole. In the long run the talent will prevail but in the short run its not real easy for ANY team to sweep another team, especially in a 5 game series.

One of the days is a doubleheader make up for a rain out from earlier in the season.

You would get around 32-1 simply because most games are going to be even-6 and the Yankees are going to be favored in a few. Sucker bet. They will go 3-2 or 4-1 if they are lucky. Their pitching sucks.
