Zensational retired

To stand at Hill N Dale.

"Having already won three Grade I races, we feel that he will be more valuable at stud. We are committing a majority of our best mares to Zensational, including the dam of multiple Grade I-winner and Kentucky Derby runner-up Pioneerof the Nile, and we look forward to his chances as a stallion."

"Zensational lost all chance in the Breedersš Cup when he broke badly from the one post,Baffert said, adding, "Hešs incredible. Hešs a beast. He's one of the three best horses I've ever trained--he's one of the few you get in a lifetime. He is as fast, as powerful and as good-looking as any horse you will ever see. He breezed faster than really good horses run."

:zz:

Here's hoping the owner goes bankrupt.

randallscott35 11-10-2009 07:10 PM

He runs like a big unsound mess, and he wasn't even as fast as Henny.

DaTruth 11-10-2009 07:21 PM

Wow that was quick. I mean the retirement, not the horse.

Zensational a one dimentional speed horse who needs to set his own pace. Once he faces adversity he falls apart.

He's a perfect horse to send to stud.

I'm just wondering how Baffert could promote him the way he did with a straight face. He must have been drunk.

letswastemoney 11-10-2009 08:13 PM

It was quite the campaign, beating horses like Talkin to Mom Roo and Delta Storm

I guess he hates the horse because otherwise he would bring him back and win some real races and prove he is the real deal. Obviously he must be the same ole laimo Unbridled Song typically produces.. Fast early yet never often

Can I be the first to say, He's Done Enough! Another cream puff Cali racing schedule. I suppose they want sprinting honors for the horse too!

At least two of those three are well respected too!
