Not sure if many of you would have seen this, but this well bred colt won on his debut at Nottingham yesterday in a very easy fashion.

By Shamardal, out of a half sister to Sea The Stars, this colt is worth a massive amount already.

He made light work of the competition (which has to be said were average at best) to win by a geared down 4 lengths at the line. He looks a very professional colt, a lovely big, scopey sort who should progress well next year. The ground was very soft and he handled it well, but I reckon he will be better on a faster surface.

The only issue is that he's with Godawful. I hope they protect this colt, because he could be pretty useful.
