Morning line if the Classic was run on a dirt track.

$5 million Breeders' Cup Classic

1. Mine That Bird Calvin Borel Chip Woolley, Jr. 12-1 6/1
2. Colonel John Garrett Gomez Eoin Harty 12-1 10/1
3. Summer Bird Kent Desormeaux Tim Ice 9-2 5/2
4. Zenyatta Mike Smith John Shirreffs 5-2 12/1
5. Twice Over (GB) Thomas Queally Henry Cecil 20-1 50/1
6. Richard's Kid Alex Solis Bob Baffert 12-1 50/1
7. Gio Ponti Ramon Dominguez Christophe Clement 12-1 50/1
8. Einstein (BRZ) Julien Leparoux Helen Pitts 12-1 12/1
9. Girolamo Alan Garcia Saeed bin Suroor 20-1 6/1
10. Rip Van Winkle (IRE) John Murtagh Aidan O'Brien 7-2 20/1
11. Regal Ransom Richard Migliore Saeed bin Suroor 20-1 12/1
12. Quality Road John Velazquez Todd Pletcher 12-1 7/2
13. Awesome Gem David Flores Craig Dollase 30-1 12/1

Summer Bird and Quality Road would be the no-brainer favorite and 2nd choice.

If the Sprint was run on a dirt track....

$2 million Sentient Jet Breeders' Cup Sprint

1. Zensational Victor Espinoza 7-5 7/2
2. Cost of Freedom Tyler Baze John Sadler 20-1 12/1
3. Fatal Bullet Eurico Da Silva Reade Baker 9-2 15/1
4. Crown of Thorns Rafael Bejarano Richard Mandella 12-1 12/1
5. Gayego Garrett Gomez Saeed bin Suroor 5-2 5/2
6. Dancing in Silks Joel Rosario Carla Gaines 12-1 50/1
7. Join in the Dance John Velazquez Todd Pletcher 30-1 8/1
8. Capt. Candyman Can Javier Castellano Ian Wilkes 15-1 8/5
9. Fleeting Spirit (IRE) Frankie Dettori Jeremy Noseda 8-1 50/1

Capt. Candyman Can the very obvious morning line favorite instead of being 15/1.

Could either one of these be any less relevant?

If the races were on dirt, the fields would look much different.

I get your point, but it's pretty moot.

Obviously.

That would also make your uncle gay?

pba1817 11-04-2009 04:13 AM

Only if he is dating YOU..

Clearly my genetic makeup is far superior to yours though, so thankfully you don't have a gay uncle dating your penis laden aunt.

Uh, not that there is anything wrong with any of that. Except for my being related to the pro bowler dude.

I still feel as if Zenyatta is a play against here. That probably makes her a single.lol....Girolamo and Summer Bird for me.

If you think CCC lays over them on dirt...then you should unload on him in this spot.
Because he showed enough at Kee that says the synth will not be his undoing. I just don't think 6f is his best distance.
But he obviously is the lone value in this race. (if ML odds stick)
I will be betting very little in this race.
