Yanks ahead 2-0

after 5 1/2 innings.Halos rarely try to come back when falling behind like that.Almost always lay down, hit it hard at people, and hit balls to the warning track etc.Cabrera hit it back to the mound with 2 guys on.That's the way they do when behind in the game.Act like men when they are leading, and women when they are behind.Gunna have to change that sht soon,or look to next year.

Red Sox getting crushed by the Tigers. Ouch. Could be 2 games again unless the Angels grow some balls and at least make an effort to hit the Tall Man.

Don't count on it.The Halos' wins usually all look the same, and their losses usually look the same.

Now that you mention it, I rarely see these guys winning exciting games with walk off home runs, like the Red Sox do at least once a week. What a boring team you have here Scuds. I liked it better when you were sporting Dodger Blue....but I will always like the Angels for knocking the Yankees on their asses 2 times in the last 5 post seasons :p

Halos are good, but their offense is a pile on offense.Which means they pile on to the starter's success. If the starter is doing good, they hit.If not, they do like they are doing tonight, and Saturday.

I am predicting an Angel comeback tonight for the win, and a Red Sox win as well. Angels down 2 runs, Red Sox down 4. Both will win, you watch...

SCUDSBROTHER 08-14-2006 08:03 PM

Atleast Lackey has pitched better tonight than he did in his last 2 starts.Texas, and Cleveland lit him up much worse.

Just cutting the lead in half like that is National News.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-14-2006 08:09 PM

Oh My God...Christmas...tied the ballgame.Even if the Halos lose, they atleast tried to comeback, and that is new.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-14-2006 08:40 PM

A Yanks win.It's the A's World.

Bad predictions Tim. Posada, see ya!!! Yanks up by two in the bottom of the 8th, bases loaded with no outs. Sox getting pelted in the 8th down by 4 runs. That one game out was as close as you are gonna get the rest of the year.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-14-2006 08:59 PM

Looks like playoffs will be:

Yanks

A's

Chisox

Detroit

RSOX,TWINS have low % chances as well.

oracle80 08-14-2006 09:04 PM

7-2 Yanks. Turn out the lights.

I have to agree Scuds. I really can't see it any other way.

oracle80 08-14-2006 09:13 PM

Sox down 3 with one inning to go.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-14-2006 09:19 PM

You can buy a playoff spot, but you can't buy playoff n world series wins.

GPK 08-14-2006 09:24 PM

is there still 6 weeks left in the season?

They payed a bundle for it too....

Gander 08-15-2006 07:59 AM

You guys are completely high to think in 6 weeks, the Red Sox cant outgame the Yankees. They have 9 games head to head.

The only 2 locks I see out of the AL at this point are the Oakland A's and the Chicago White Sox. The Tigers, Red Sox and Yankees will fight for the remaining 2 spots.
