The check is most likely in the mail:D

slotdirt 10-09-2009 10:24 AM

The article conveniently omits Lo Duca's stint with the Washington Nationals.

He took over in LA following Piazza and had one borderline good season. Joe Mauer he was not.

Might be good not to be God's gift to baseball. If you're too good, after you die they take your head out of the freezer and whack it with a wrench apparently.

He was a scummy guy when he played for the Mets. Also a Balco user.

XIIPointStables 10-09-2009 11:19 AM

If he stopped appearing on TVG with bad picks and stale analysis, maybe he'd have time to pay the farm.

Being down there, at this time of night, well, it has to be priceless. Plus, it has to be below 40 degrees right now, as it is 45 in the burbs

Just going for Klink's race on that Friday afternoon was scary enough in itself, that was with $1 hotdogs and $2 Beers, brought out the best in everyone

Now if they did something like this at Arlington, they would get 30-40k on a Friday night
