I'm surprised that you would find that a joyous ocassion! His job was done anyway.

i don't like to see anybody get hurt but i don't need to see the kid puking into bag while leaving the field on a cart.:wf

Cannon Shell 09-27-2009 08:44 AM

Think the bag will wind up on ebay?

Danzig 09-27-2009 09:38 AM

hope he turns out ok, none the worse for wear. he's not one of my faves, but i certainly don't wish harm on anyone. hell of a hit.

but if anyone should have been puking into a bag last night, it's joe paterno.

i'm sorry but florida has gotten UN-watchable! there are 100 kids in that program but the only name you hear is tebow.
my parents had the game on last night and my mother called to tell me something and added that she could watch anymore because she was "sick of hearing tim tebow".

Antitrust32 09-28-2009 07:29 AM

well Tebow is just one of the best and most accomplish player in college history, and if he wins another NC and or Heisman he will be the most accomplished player in history so it makes sense you hear his name. His will to win is up there with Jordan. The people who bitch just wish he was on their team.

ddthetide 10-11-2009 07:21 AM

superman returned last night but the gator defense won the game.

Maybe the best defense in the country is wearing CRIMSON.:D

That LSU offense is pathetic. How the hell did they get to #4 again?

It's a shame 'Bama and Florida don't play each other in the regular season. Guess we have to wait for the SEC title again.

they seem to have been 'zorned'. a team that holds another to 13 points ought to come out with a win....jordan jefferson looked very much like a rookie last night. a bye week, so maybe the tigers can get their O in line. but texas or 'bama should be #1 in my opinion.

the worst part of watching that game last night was the lovefest between verne and all things tebow. i dislike having to deal with 3+ hours of the announcers showing a decided bias towards one team, regardless of who it is.

They were tame compared to Thom Brennaman in last year's title game. The Tebow slobbering is reaching Favrian levels. He seems like a nice enough guy but it's a lot of fuss for a QB that can only run gimmick plays and has no shot to make it in the NFL.

Thats what happens when a baseball announcer calls a football game. Pretty good at baseball, not so much for football. And why the **** is anyone supposed to care what Matt Millen has to say? He took a bad franchise and made them historically bad, drafted incredibly poorly, was seemingly always in disarray yet we are supposed to listen to his words of wisdom on college AND the NFL??? He was a pretty good player but I just want to punch him in the mouth.

It's ironic, the only "analyst" I can even stomach on ESPN is Keyshawn. I guess Steve Young's OK too. Gruden and Jaworski make me want to shoot myself in the face. I'm gonna watch tomorrow's game at a bar just so I don't have to hear those useless asshats go back and forth using bland trite cliches about my team for 3 1/2 hours.

Good excuse to go to the bar to watch the game......I agree I hate whom ever is going to announce today's Steeler game, I'm going to the bar! Screw my son's Soccer game. Thanks A-team:D

jordan jefferson has a problem being compy in pocket also looking for his check down receivers. miles should be playing the other qb.

It doesn't matter. The early season rankings are based on reputation and record. In that order.

Thankfully, playing the season usually weeds out the pretenders. LSU was exposed last night. I'm hoping Bama and Florida remain undefeated. The SEC title game will be a slugfest.

which one, lee? he had his chances last year. as for the freshman, he is talented like jordan, but needs more time, like jordan. it aggravates when he hits a receiver and they drop the ball. lafell can be good, and then he can be infuriating. a bye week for lsu, hoping they can take the time to work on where they're lacking.

and bigs, excellent point-the teams don't have much say in where they're ranked, and can only play and maybe try to live up to expectations-high as they may be sometimes.
i recall a few years back when auburn was preseason #1, and went down in flames. for some teams, the hype is just too much, and is unrealistic. lsu will win their share, but i'd have to think right now it's fla vs ala in atlanta for the sec.

You may not feel well for other reasons

it looks like Bama figured out thier LB problem. IF the Bama defense continues to play like yesterday, the rest of the season will be fun to watch.:D
