NHC TS.com 25 seat guaranteed contest?
Anyone remember how much that contest cost last year on TwinSpires.com for the November 25 seat guaranteed contest? I think I am going to give it a shot this year, if it is under $200.

I got it, it was $250, probably in this year, what the hell.

Last year the entire system blew-up and they had to re-schedule. Some people were able to get their picks in, while others were not.

Chances would have been better to qualify for AP's contest this Sat.
5 seats, limited to 150 entries. BTW Can't wait to see FCC's in the 7th Sat. |
The TS contest is $250, which is somewhat fair but there are a lot of participants.
We need to get more DT folks qualified because Dr. W does not need to head out to Vegas for the 37th year in a row alone. At least Bob and I were there for moral support last year. NT |
The twin spires contest is an excellent value. Any contest where 100% of entry fees are returned to the player is one that is worth entering. Take out is the biggest impediment to winning in this game. 100% pay back contests essentially eliminate take out.
The Twinspires contest will be big and will be tough but so what. Good handicappers can prevail on any given day. Take a shot. The NHC is an unbelievable experience. I hope there will be many DTers there with me in January. Paul |
