Claiming at Calder
 

Anyone know the claiming rules at Calder?

I know I would need to be licensed but do I have to start a horse before I can claim? And then how long is the horse in jail? 30 days, 60 days, until the end of the meet?

A longtime to take one somewhere else if I remember correctly. Something like 90 days after the end of the meet. I think the current Calder meet runs till the begining of November when it is the Tropical at Calder meet. I dont believe you have to start one but not positive.

I tried with DrugS to claim at Tampa last year and claim was bounced because we hadn't started there. Not sure about Caldors

Calder was the same as of a couple years ago.
