Seeing Commentator run...and lose..at charlestown was surreal.

He never looked comfortable on that track.

I've never been a big fan of his. Those gigantic numbers of his have all come with favorable trips .. and he's not exactly a beast when things don't go his way.

I am a fan, and I can see one of those favorable trips again on Saturday.

It's hard not to notice all the layoff lines in his PPs, and I understand the perfect trip angle, but he's 8-years-old, he's a cool horse and gelding or not, he's still racing. He's the exception not the rule, and for that I tip my hat.

The dam of Commentator was so crooked - that they had her knocked up by Distorted Humor as a 2-year-old. In fact, right around the date of her second birthday.

If Distorted Humor wasn't such a pedo .. we would have never had Commentator.

so true, theres a certain level he can run into the ground. but, beyond that if he isn't in control of the race hes usually an also ran. at his best he was really good but thats not the case anymore. he is ALWAYS overbet and i'm a fan because i've made so much betting against him.
