You know things are bad when the HOUSE trainer ships

yeah

Even Shug, the NYRA house trainer, is shipping out of town for a POLY race. Guess there was nothing available on the BEL turf.

Someone needs to alert Campo that turf races can be run over distances other than 6F, 7F, 8F, 8.5F, and 9F. That is, when they're run at all.

1 1/4 on the inner was a staple for decades at BEL. Gone..............

Didn't he take Vacation out of town because he couldn't hack it in NY? Rescue Squad is probably next to be taken to a lesser circuit.

He's running for $200k up at WO. BEL is carding claiming/maiden/NYBRED races on the turf. Where does he, and others like him, run at BEL? Campo really needs to study his counterpart up at WO and get a clue as to hard to card races over a range of distances.

Yeah I knew he was running in Canada. He just won the Hanshin at Arlington also. He had a very difficult time clearing the N1X condition but has found Poly to his liking. Hopefully like most Shug horses he'll be ridiculously overbet and thus drive up the price on Approval Rating, who I can't wait to bet.

Shug's horses run pretty darn well on the synthetics.

He (and Byk) got real lucky at AP, when Dominican was shut off the length of the stretch. Doubtful he sniffs favoritism tomorrow or gets another break.

I don't like Approval Rating. The race went 4-8-2-3 around the track, which means he got the best trip other than the winner. Marchfield closed well, running wide on the turn, but I don't see why the added distance would favor him. Moreover, Husbands, uncharacteristically, had him inside on the 1st turn and backstretch; doubtful he gets another good trip from the Canadian Mr Wide No Cover.

I think Equitable ran a much improved race last out and he should be a price. Hopefully, he'll have his mind on running.

I like him, too. Looks to have come out of his last well and should turn in an improved effort. Bred for 10F too.
