Who says horses don't know where they are?
 
There is something about The Curragh, which appeals to the old performer Benbaun. What it is, no one knows, but something gets him in the mood there. Naas is just down the road, but that's not good enough. He doesn't really like running in England, and although he seems to enjoy Longchamps on occassions, there is nothing like The Curragh.

Here is his form when running at his beloved track:

If only horses could speak.

edit: Also it's strange that he's had four runs at Ascot and showed next to nothing, as both tracks are pretty similar in my opinion.

I've always said someone needs to hold up a sign saying Welcome to the Curragh when he's entered!
